Early Man Rules!

The photographs below relate to our topic - Early Man. Below you can see us making huts and sitting around fires as early man would have done.














This half term we have been learning about Early Man. We have learnt many interesting things- many of them gory! Here are our three top facts.

Fact 1: Early Man used most of a mammoths insides to make tools, inluding bones, sinews and skin.
Fact 2: Early Man used clever ways of catching food, such as hidden traps in the ground with sharp sticks in them.
Fact 3: Early Man had to rely on each other to survive and work as a team.

Here are some pictures of us trying to build an Early Man shelter only using the equipment available in our 'wood'.
We decided that Early Man was more clever than we thought and it was a hard life.
