Drayton Manor
The children and staff had a lovely time last week at Drayton Manor. The children were a pleasure to take to the park, and they thoroughly enjoyed the day. There was a wide range of rides and attractions to suit everyone, and it actually stayed dry until we got back on the bus. Well done to all the children they represented the school very well.

Cifynydd Water Treatment Works
Today we went to visit Welsh Water's, Water Treatment Works in Cilfynydd. We found out lots of information about recycling, reusing and reducing the amount of water and materials / products that we use in every day life. Firstly, we took part in a hunt to find hidden materials within the grounds.
Once we had found the items, a woolen sock, a cotton towel, an aluminium can, a plastic bottle, a leather shoe and a glass bottle we had to rank them in the order that they would decompose. How did this group do? Look below to find the correct answer.
This was our water saving challenge. Do you know that a leaking tap will leak up to 280 baths of water a year?
Tennis Festival at Llantrisant Tennis Club - Year 3 - 2012
Last week we were invited to take part in the Regional Tennis Tournament at Llantrisant Leisure Centre. The children all had a "whale of a time," as they spent the day learning new skills and playing matches. Well done to all who took part in this year's event.
