Wow! What scary Celtic warriors! You had a very busy day, I hear. It looks lots of fun. Did the Celtic warriors understand your world? There was a "Manimal" visiting that day, wasn't there Thomas? There are lots of interesting photos here. I can't wait to read your reports and listen to your stories about the day.

Keep up the good work,

Mrs.Morris

Castell Henllys

Today we all went to Castell Henllys in Cardigan, West Wales to visit an Iron Fort. When we arrived we were met by Arianwen a Celt who took us up to her hill fort. There we spent the day with the other celts cooking, basket weaving and building a celtic wall made from wattle and daub a combination of mud, cow manure, horse hair and water!! We all got our hands dirty. Here are some of our photos of the day.

Guess the adverb!

We've been learning about adverbs this week and played a game like charades. Each group was given an action and an adverb to act out.
The question was- HOW
did they do it?
We had to use our communication skills- using prior knowledge to help us, listening skills. Can you guess what they're doing?

PSE- What makes a good friend- thinking skills

We've been discussing the qualities of a good friend in PSE. We used our thinking skills - plan, reflect to write down our thoughts.

We used a place mat to sort our ideas in a group. We had to choose the top 5 qualities of a friend and agree them as a group. Then we presented group's ideas to the class.

We thought long and hard- can you see our brains working?! We've displayed our results in class. Come and see if you agree with us.
