Cilfynydd Waste Water Treatment
Year 3 trip to Cilfynydd Waste Water Treatment Works.
Sorting what will flush down our toilets.
Cotton buds are only small, but they don't disintegrate in the water and so they clog up the water recycling plant.
All sorts of chemicals and soaps etc are added by us into our water.
All this rubbish is in our waste water. The skip is emptied twice a day.
Our tour of the plant to see how the water is cleaned.
